"Collemattoni named after the farm that over time has become the trademark of our farm. Collemattoni is located on a hill in the south of the town of Montalcino a few steps from the medieval village of Sant'Angelo. The farm dates back at least to 1672, when on the parish archives is recorded as the house of a family, the first hint of the Bucci family back to 1798 with Giuseppe Bucci "laborer" at the head of a large family. Today the company is run by Marcello Bucci with great support from Adon parents, Vera and Uncle Franco. The company's philosophy is technology, but with a style that comes from belonging to the place. In 2012 Collemattoni has obtained the certification of organic farm and everything is always done in the most environmentally responsible manner. Thanks to the presence of a biomass boiler and solar panels, is produced 80% of the energy needs of the winery." SEE MORE ...
