"The Weingut Markus Molitor farms 65 hectares of vineyards on the Mosel . With 90% Riesling is the dominant grape variety, but it also produces small amounts of Pinot Noir . Molitor farmed vineyards in 15 different locations , including Wehlen Sundial and Graacher Domprobst . The estate is located in Wehlener Klosterberg. It was built as a winery at the end of the 19th century and was acquired by Markus Molitor in 1984 after its takeover. 2014 was Markus Molitor by a jury of the magazine Falstaff for Winemaker of the Year chosen. The final breakthrough to the world's top wineries and winemakers succeeded Molitor in 2015 when he by the journal The Wine Advocate , for three of its wines, all Riesling reading , respectively, the highest score of 100 Parker points (named after Robert Parker , the founder Of the Wine Advocate). Molitor is therefore a group of prominent winegrowers, whose wines achieve the highest prices.
